El Chile Toreado

This outstanding Santa Fe food truck was nominated for a James Beard award and is always delivering exceptional food for fair prices.
The El Chile Toreado Breakfast Burrito is huge. This thing is loaded and will keep you full for any other Santa Fe adventures you have planned.
As a local to Santa Fe, I would definitely start my Santa Fe gastronomy tour here with a serious bang. Don’t forget to try their amazing and spicy red/green sauces.

Counter Culture

Counter Culture is a hidden locals favorite in Santa Fe for a variety of amazing foods but the Handheld Breakfast Burrito really shines!
One aspect I really enjoy about this Breakfast Burrito besides the hearty amount of Bacon and amazing Christmas Chile, is the slightly toasted tortilla.
Some places will opt to microwave the burrito (largely pre made spots) but the freshly crisp tortilla wraps it all together (no pun intended).
Also, it’s the perfect size. Large but not overbearing.

Dolina
Address: 402 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501
Dolina is one of my latest favorites on the Breakfast Burrito scene in Santa Fe. If you can beat the crazy weekend rush, and terrible parking options, I implore you to try this place immediately.
Their burrito isn’t the largest but they are generous on the meat and distribute their ingredients exceptionally.
Check out this James Beard award recipient spot before you get out of town!
The New Baking Company

Tucked behind their stellar baked goods and friendly prices, you will find one of Santa Fe’s best breakfast burritos! Pair that with unlimited refills of Aroma Coffee and your day is set to be magical!
Price: $9 (+$2 for meat)
This Santa Fe Breakfast Burrito is outstanding. Favorable size and very filling. There were a hearty amount of Potatoes but not crazy enough to need to remove many.
Tribes Coffee House
Address: 3470 Zafarano Dr, Santa Fe, NM 87507
Southside Santa Fe has some awesome places to find a Breakfast Burrito. If you’re down in the area, make sure to remember the name, Tribes Coffee House.
Pair the burrito with some of Santa Fe’s Best Coffee and you’re on the way to an eventful day.
Tribes is tucked away in the San Isidro Plaza behind the Regal Movie theatre so is definitely a place you won’t just randomly find.
Betterday Coffee
Address: 905 W Alameda St, Santa Fe, NM 87501
This place really shines when it comes to their amazing Coffee and breakfast burritos.
One thing I really love about their burritos are the incredible freshly made tortillas. They really amplify the flavor and overall eating experience.
Cafe Castro
Address: 2811 Cerrillos Road
An often overlooked institution, this southside gem is about as authentic and tasty as they come.
Posa’s
Address: 1514 Rodeo Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87505
A Santa Fe institution, Posa’s delivers on flavor and size. These breakfast burritos are huge! Some would call their red sauce top notch and Tamales, world class.
El Parasol
El Parasol is yet another amazing breakfast burrito option in Santa Fe.

- Clean environment
Nothing is particularly amazing about the burrito but the portions, ingredients, spice, size, are all on point.

Tia Sophia’s
Address: 210 W San Francisco St, Santa Fe, NM 87501
Tia Sophia’s is one of the most famous places in Santa Fe for a Breakfast Burrito. Unfortunately I haven’t consumed one of Tia Sophia’s Breakfast Burritos yet, but if the folklore is real, you and I, NEED to eat here sooner than later.
Be aware that weekend lines are long and there’s a good chance waits can surpass 1 hour.
Sunrise Restaurant
Sunrise Restaurant is the epitome of a quality Santa Fe Breakfast Burrito. Nothing extravagant and absolutely delectable. The size is perfect and for the price, unbeatable. This easily overlooked local breakfast joint should be seriously considered for top marks in the city different.

Chocolate Maven
Chocolate Maven is an infamous bakery and restaurant in Santa Fe but can also be included for their Breakfast Burrito.
I personally haven’t had it yet, but am including it as it’s the priciest Breakfast Burrito option I have seen so far in Santa Fe.
